Ou Kiln celadon and ceramic pieces

Celadon ceramics are kiln-fired objects. Glaze, texture, small marks, and tonal variation are part of the material character. Clean most pieces with a soft cloth or gentle hand washing. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, hard scrubbing, and sudden temperature changes.

Display vases, ornaments, incense holders, tea pets, and small sculptural pieces on stable surfaces. When moving them, support the base instead of pulling from a narrow rim, handle, or raised detail.

Chinese tea ware

Rinse tea cups, gaiwan pieces, and ceramic tea ware by hand unless a product page gives different guidance. Let pieces dry fully before storage. For tea stains, use a soft cloth and mild cleaning method rather than harsh chemical cleaners.

Ceramic jewelry should be protected from impact, perfume, cosmetics, and prolonged moisture. Wipe gently after wear and store pieces separately so harder metals or stones do not scratch the surface.

Keep leather bags and small leather goods away from long direct sun, heavy rain, oil, and sharp objects. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after use. If the surface gets wet, blot gently and air dry naturally away from heaters.

If a ceramic item is being gifted or moved, keep protective wrapping around the object until it reaches its final place. For international gifting, compact pieces such as cups, incense holders, small ornaments, and ceramic jewelry are usually easier to handle than oversized fragile objects.
